ok - I signed up for the Georgia half marathon next March.  It is the first day of sign-up so that have some great discounts -- $40 isn't too bad.  I still don't know what to do for the fall goal race.  There is a new marathon run by the Atlanta Track club - on Halloween weekend.  I should do that one.  But there is also the Silver Comet Half on the same weekend.  That is a great PR waiting to happen.  Or I could wait and run the Chickamauga Marathon or Half two weeks after that.

pre lunch run 4.5 @ 6:50 ave pace -- the weather is so nice

post work run - another 4.5 @ 7:16 pace -

So many choices! I'm sure you'll have a blast no matter which you choose.

starting this morning this one offers 50% off for the first 100, then 40% off for the next 250, then on and on. Normally it is $65. I got it for 40 so thats not too bad.

Now that is a nice deal! Some 5 or 10Ks charged as much as that!

Glad you had nice weather for your pre-lunch run. NICE to see those 6s again!

I'm with Rhett. You will do GREAT with whichever Fall marathon you choose!

thanks Smooth. I hope I can put some speedwork into my weeks soon.

I have price limits for my races. The price increases recently are a little crazy if you ask me...

Luckily the track club has enough free ones for members throughout the year.

You can always run Ogden under my registration, but you're on your own to get here. :)

I'd take you up on it if I was less than 1800 miles away. Unfortunately yahoo maps says it is 1878 - dang.

I know a shortcut! :)
