got out for 4 - ankle felt ok by the end

tried to go out in the evening for another set and I just couldn't do it.  I don't know what happened.  I took three days off and it feels worse than it did on Thursday.   This stinks - big time.  Not what I need right now.

Very frustrating indeed. I feel for you bro.

OK, I've been super busy and missed it. What happened to your ankle? I hope it's nothing major.

thanks -

yeah I'm not sure - can't even walk on it right - sharp pain if I place my foot normally... feels like something is out of place almost.

From DaleG on Tue, May 17, 2011 at 13:20:19 from 174.52.230.9

I hope it's not a stress fractre.

Don't jinx me :)

Bummer on ankle Tim, hope it heals up quick! Went to Emory last night, but with cool weather and insufficient warm-up, felt something tweaking in my hamstring after 400m, so did not run 1500 or 3000. Maybe next time ... but it was fun to be down there anyway.

JG - it is kind of a cool atmosphere isn't it? stinks you drove that far and couldn't do all the ones you wanted...

From JG on Wed, May 18, 2011 at 11:25:30 from 98.66.253.108

Yeah, it was fun watching, especially some of the kids races. I hope to take my son next Tuesday as his soccer wraps up this week. As far as the drive, I did take advantage of a bbq feast afterward at Pig-N-Chik, so it was all worth it! :)

nice!

From JG on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 08:22:50 from 98.66.188.113

Hey Tim,I hope a full week of rest has been beneficial for you ... and that your foot is nothing serious!

From timp on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 08:45:17 from 66.167.50.143

thanks JG - it feels ok walking for the most part but I can't push off on it.

How did you get that twisted ankle? Did you bugger it up on your last 5K? Well, get it better soon.....Do the RICE on it !

From timp on Wed, May 25, 2011 at 09:34:20 from 144.188.24.25

HI Slick - not sure exactly. Maybe it is just too much racing in April. I'm a week off running now and it is getting better I think. Rode my bike yesterday for something at least. Wish I had a gym membership but not sure I want to spend the $$

From DaleG on Wed, May 25, 2011 at 13:13:01 from 76.27.13.205

I hope that ankle starts feeling a lot better. It's no fun not being able to run.

From timp on Thu, May 26, 2011 at 13:47:43 from 144.188.24.27

Sounds just like a stress fracture! They are no bueno! Go get a boot and have fun hobbling around for 6 weeks.

From DaleG on Mon, May 30, 2011 at 23:17:26 from 76.27.13.205

From timp on Tue, May 31, 2011 at 08:36:09 from 66.167.50.143

hey Rhett/Dale - it is ok most of the time. Maybe I can try it tonight.

From Huans32 on Tue, May 31, 2011 at 09:06:15 from 138.64.8.51

Ice it up and I hope it will be feeling better for you man. That is a bummer.
