Strange run -

Q ran the peachtree JR 3k this morning along with a few hundred of her closest friends.  Actually one of her closest friends (and sis) were there.  That was very nice.  The kids run it all by themselves, starting in age groups 12-7.  The ATC does a really good job with this one.  And it is only $12 or something like that.  Nice tshirt and goodie bag along with it.

Then I ran when they stopped on the way home for doughnuts.  That put me 4 miles from home - so to do a normal 12 miler I had to try to be creative.  Turns out I took a road and ended up running the wrong way for a half mile -- until I crossed over the interstate - instead of running back into the city.

I took about 20 min longer than expected and I think my watch got turned off for a while.  I maped it manually to get the miles, but the time is way off

13.9 prob at 8 or a little slower.  I really sweated on this run and didn't have any water along with me.  some dang big hills in this route -

biggest week in a while at least
