High School: won a few state championships, ran some decent times

College: Ran in some cool meets, ran some fast times, competed as a NCAA Division 1 athlete

Post-College:

1mile: 4:55 (May 23rd 2020 solo time trial) 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I'd like to be able to run 16 miles at 6:25 pace at 6,000 feet comfortably again. Maybe run some road races and hop into some track races?

ran 6 total after work; did 11x1min pickups with 2min recov jog in between. kept the pace around 4:50-5:15. felt really good! gotta take advantage of the days you feel good.

morning: did a 10min spin on the trainer, then 5 miles in the morning. 2.5 with aaron and my friend Kiyena who runs for washington state. felt good.

evening: ran southview with nate and kiyena, 5 total. super nice to hit the trails again! crazy to have done a 10 mile day. haven't done that in ages.

ran main street loop from my place, 6:46 avg. felt really good! i think i like running in the evening after work more than waking up early for it. glad i have the choice

morning: did a 30min bike sesh on my trainer, avg HR of 111, max HR of 136. i want to gain more benefit from these bike sessions, so i'm gonna try to go harder to get my avg HR up, without being too tired to run 

evening: easy 2.25. didn't feel like more
