This semester is OVER!!!! I am so relieved. It was much more difficult and time consuming that I had imagined. I feel as if I did really well on my first three finals but am worried that I really messed up on this last one. Yikes! Overall, I have learned more in these past 4 months than any other 4 months in my life (including the first four months of PT school). I feel pretty confident that if I were a PT right now that there would be above a 50% chance that I could correctly diagnose a patient's impairment. But ... I am pretty certain that patients expect more than a 50% chance. :) :) :) Also, chances are I would NOT be able to effectively treat the impairment. DANG ... guess I better stay in school for another 2.33 years. I am certain that the additional $46K I will pay over these next 28 months will guarantee that I graduate a genius!!!! :) :) :)

You are already a GENIUS!!! :) :) :)

So HAPPY you triumphed over this semester! I'll bet you are at the top 5% of your class. Chances are you are more than 50% proficient in diagnosing! The next 28 months will fly by as you increase your knowledge and experience in treating and clinical! :)

EXCELLENT 9 miler. Your speed is back!!! Love and miss you! :)

You are so kind, SSF. There are so many extremely smart people in my class. Highly doubt that I am in the top 5%. I am doing fantastic in some classes but just average in others. I have had to learn how to pick and choose which things/classes take priority and work it from there. The whole balance thing has been tough. :-)

CONGRATULATIONS!!

"...will guarantee that I graduate a genius!" You are already a genius. Education will not make you smarter. It will make you more knowledgeable.

In grad school you are already among the top 5% (or what ever*) of the population, so if you are in the top 50% of your classmates, you are in the top 2.5% (or what ever*) of all peeps. The top 20% of your classmates means you are in the 1%* club, the elite of the elite.

Of course I'm making this up....

* 7.6% of the US pop has an MS, 2.9% has a doctorate or professional degree

Fly~

Your post put a HUGE smile on my face and helped me feel MUCH MUCH MUCH better about the lousy last final. :)

When are we running?

I think I remember the day when you said something like: "Your class required me to know so much detail; I had to study so, so much." Let me guess, now, in retrospect, it doesn't compare to what you are required to know, right? See, my class was just a little warm-up for the mega dose that is graduate school.
