8 miles with Ry up to Staheli Farms (and a little bit beyond) and back. So nice having Ry to run with so much this training season. LOVE IT!

Hmmm ... that's a loaded question. So subjective.
Definitely not as strong as I was in 2012, but stronger than some other years. I have no idea what kind of time I should expect. I have been doing the vast majority of my miles pretty dang slow. With that said, I have zero niggles (knock on wood).
How is the HR training going for you?

I've been doing 100% of my running slow. It definitely keeps me healthy. Only time will tell if it is a successful training strategy for me but I plan on sticking with it at least until my 50 mile race in January.
