MAN!!! I haven't pushed myself like that for so so so long. I really had to focus, felt like I was in race mode. Hit puke zone in the last quarter of a mile or so. Feels so good now that I am done!!! :)

Will blog while I ice and drink my muscle milk, then back to the books!!! :)

Holy crud, Teena, you are back at it! That is one heck of a fast long run there! You never cease to amaze me. I can not run like that, EVER!!! Was that outside or on the TM?

From Andy on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 16:40:22 from 159.212.71.199

We ran the same amount of miles today only you ran 40 seconds/mile faster. Great run!

From Lyman on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 16:43:40 from 170.135.241.45

A 6:59 mile at the end of the eight mile push is awesome! I take it that this is part of your Boston training. Great job!

I have the same problem of headaches and water in my ear (left one) when swimming. Simple ear plugs will do the trick.

From Teena Marie on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 17:10:01 from 174.52.45.85

Kelli -- You are such a fibber!!! YOU KNOW that you are WAY faster (as evidenced by our races). I wanted to run outside and see how fast I could push. BUT ... the air was far too icky. I'm an asthma baby!!! But now that I think about it, I think running on the TM forced me to keep the faster pace. And Kel, I am serious, this was HARD for me. I really did push myself. I think running the slower pace on Saturday made all the difference in the world. Seriously.

Andy -- Yeah, but I wasn't in the icky air and I had to push myself like a MAD WOMAN and ... I took my Emergen-C!!! :)

Lyman -- Yep, just trying to get ready for Boston. I really wanted to push myself today though to see where I was at. Hey -- it is my left ear too! I am going to head to Sports Authority and pick up some ear plugs!! Thanks! :)

WOW! You're SO fast! I love that your average pace was my "fast" pace today :) Way to go!

I love the pic of your family. Your kids are so cute! I have to agree 100% about having a passion for chocolate covered cinnamon bears. They are delicious!!!

From DonGardinero on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 19:38:20 from 152.216.7.5

Wow Teena Marie, I haven't seen you run those fast paces for a long time. Now don't do it again until next week. LOL. Hope youre getting some rest while youi study

From Kelli on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 19:47:52 from 71.219.89.82

Not a fibber, totally could not do that workout (especially on the treadmill). My races are only faster because you kept getting hurt. BUT, you are back and you are going to blow my PR out of the water AND I am going to be so happy when you do!!! This is going to be a fun race, you better be waiting for me and Emily at the finish line with an immediate report---I will not be able to wait!

From Kathie on Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 21:54:25 from 63.248.105.188

From fly on the Wall on Wed, Jan 13, 2010 at 09:42:41 from 168.179.215.137

Great run! Now remember to take a recover day tomorrow and run SLOW and EASY! :)

I can't remember or never knew, are you taking O Chem (and everything else) at the U? My wife has a chemistry degree from there.

From Rhett on Wed, Jan 13, 2010 at 12:40:34 from 74.41.249.102

Wow, you had a great run yesterday!!!! Look at those speedy splits and finishing up with a sub 7, very nice! So is 8:00 pace your goal mp?

What kind of pace are you shooting for at Painter's? I got to thinking about that for the first time as I ran this morning, and I still don't know what I want to do. Maybe I'll just run what feels good that day.

From Smooth on Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 00:15:42 from 174.23.217.47

Just dropping in to say good morning, good afternoon and good night! Hope your day was GOOD. LOVE YOU!!!!

From Teena Marie on Thu, Jan 14, 2010 at 23:40:48 from 174.52.45.85

Thanks everyone!!! :)

Fly -- yep, at the U! I wish your wife were my prof!!! I'm guessing she is pretty genius! :)

Rhett -- have not decided on how to run Painters yet. As far as MP pace goes, and 8:00 minute pace is what I am shooting for sometime this decade!! Not sure when (secretly I am hoping by SGM). :)
