Nice little night run. 3.25 miles at 7:50 pace. Was enjoyable. After a long stretch of mostly doing one mile at a time, because I have been extremely busy working on my dissertation and working on other responsibilities, I am going to get back into my training. I don't believe all that Sasha says about "neural fatigue," but I can say that it was hard to get myself running hard when my brain was occupied with other things. But this week I actually felt like running and had some more time, so I set the goal to run 10 miles this week and did it. My goal for next week is 15 miles. Too bad now the weather is going to turn cold, but I want to show myself that I can push through that again. |
