Awesome run this morning at 5:30 am on the Provo River Trail up Provo Canyon. It felt great to get out and put in some more mileage today. I almost have as many miles as last week now.

Nice run up to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail in Orem. By the time I found the trail, I only had a short time to run on it, but it was fun and nice to know I'm so close to it. Now if I can just get over my fear of encountering a rattlesnake on the trail...

I now have more miles this week than last!

Ran up the Provo River Trail in Provo Canyon. 6.25 miles in about 7:00 pace. Oddly felt better on the uphill than on the downhill. Ran 6:40 pace on the uphill.

Ran down to Lavell Edwards Stadium to watch part of the BYU Football blue/white scrimmage. They looked pretty good. I ran 6:53 pace on the way down and 7:10 pace overall. Nice to be out in the sun.

I got more than 25 miles for the week. That is great for me right now. Hopefully I'll get in a good week next week so I won't be totally out of shape for the half marathon in two weeks.
