Ran outside today! I got a late start and had family responsibilities and a mini family vacation, so I cut my run short. But I was satisfied with it. I ran down on the railroad trail by Point of the Mountain, ran into some dead ends, and came back on Redwood Road. It was hot (for me). My pace was not good (8:30 average), but I felt good.

I've been very unmotivated lately. My mileage has suffered. This week I got about 44 miles. Not great but not horrible. But it is what it is. I won't be in shape to run my "potential" for St. George. But I still have confidence that I can run a solid race in six weeks.

Thanks! And great job on your 5K. I'm sure you believed at some point that you would might never break 3 hours for a marathon. So I bet someday you will get under 18 in the 5K.

44 looks good to me. I wish I had gotten into SG. if I had I might not have gotten fat and lazy and injured this summer. oh well. next year.

Scott, I think you needed a break. So hopefully now you will come back with even faster times.
