Did my Monday treadmill tempo workout. It was my best yet since I've been doing treadmill workouts. As always, my times probably aren't equivalent to running on the road, but compared to myself it was an improvement to be happy about.

9.51 miles in 1 hour. 0.5 mile cooldown.

My neighbor started chatting with me for about 10 minutes toward the end, so that increased the difficulty. :)

Wow! That's smokin fast for nearly 10 miles. Is that an all out race effort or could you still have gone faster?

Yeah, at that speed I'm surprised you had the composure to not tell your neighbor to shut the heck up!

Thanks, guys! It was pretty close to my limit. If my life depended on it, I could have continued at that pace, but it was challenging. However, I will say that my hill workouts on the treadmill are even more challenging than the tempo runs, as far as heart rate, etc.
