I didn't get out last night like I wanted to, however I did spend the time stretching, and icing.

Woke-up and stretched for 1/2 hour.

The run this morning felt pretty good. I can tell I have lost a lot of fitness over the last 1 1/2 months with this injury. During the run my knee felt a little tight so I just took it a little slow.

Steve just do a run every day and take all of them slow. If you can do this you can allow healing and build you fitness, plus trim some of your love handles off.

I agree with Clyde - go every day, but only two miles for two to three weeks. I think if you go every day at extremely low volume/intensity, it actually stimulates the healing.
