Got up a little earlier and ran my 11.5 desert reserve loop. Took it easy.  About 8 miles in I started feeling a little dehydrated and fatigued. I soon remembered I hadn't had any food or water since before our repeats last night - not too smart. However, when I got home I did put myself on the scale and I was down to 164 (a new low since 2001).

Wow!, I'm going in the other direction weight wise. I was 150 last night, right before the marathon I was 142, but I should be back down around there before to long.

I've gotten used to my shoes and now they are working great!

Steve, you are a machine. A piece of Steele that cannot be broken.

So far I'm registered for the Run for Kids 10k, the UT to AZ border 10k, and the Marathon. Probably going to do the Hurricane Half and Beat the Banker also.

Good miles Steve. You have to just push through some solid weeks at first and then it will be like clock work.

Steve,

Thanks for your concern. Everything went well. We had a 7lbs 13oz baby girl. No problems. I'll have to get out and run today. I'm going crazy with energy.

Now we are getting somewhere. What is your healthy college weight?

From steve hooper on Fri, Apr 06, 2007 at 18:31:14

Sasha, my healthy college weight was 154 if I went below 152 I remember starting to feel weak. When I hit my PR in the mile at 16 in high school I was 163.

I think I currently have a significant muscle density discrepancy compared to my college fitness level. I think my overall muscle balance and tone was much better than it is now.
