AM - Got up and ran with the Club this morning at the Dixie College Track. 6 miles total. We ran out of time and didn't get all the repeats in. Ended up doing 2x400m and 4 x800 (all 800's were at 2:34). Hips felt like they were catching a bit.  I felt like my body was working harder than my lungs. Overall an OK workout, nothing amazing.  We had a good group today and everyone did really well.

Got home from the track with Kendra and went out and added another 13+ miles.  Felt really Good. The hips didn't act up until the end. 13.2 miles.

Hopefully that hip holds up. It's a free country but if it was me I'd lay off track workouts while it's on the mend. Save anything for a couple good long runs/ tempos before June 3.

I think it's going to be fine. I spent some good time last night on it and I'm spending more time on it tonight. The hip actually felt pretty good this morning until the end of my long run. I think the very light "catching" is more me not being used to running at that pace. It has always happened to me if I haven't done consistant speed-work.

By the way, your tempo last week was great. You really have everything dialed in right now. Keep it up!!
