Tempo run on treadmill

1 mile warm-up (6.2-6.7) and the next 5 @ 6.8-8:49 min mile. Sped up gradually last mile to 7.5 and then did 8.0 for last 20 seconds. Supposed to be "comfortably hard" but at times it was DANG hard! Good for me though. I realized yesterday that if I were to qualify for Boston at either marathon this year I need a 3:50:59 time cause I'll be 40 in 2012. After this year I'll need a 3:45 flat. So it's either this year or...like 5-10 yrs from now. Again, just a dream, but something I've been thinking about nonetheless.

Just found out I'm staying at the Marriott right across from the bus loading area for the Ogden marathon. Sharing a room with my friend from Vegas! Woo hoo! AND Jeff (my husband) just registered us for St. George marathon this morning! Woo hoo! (Lys???)

When you do Boston (whenever that may be) - I'm coming.

TO WATCH.

I will fill the bath with ice cubes for you after your run. I LOVE YOU!

Oh my gosh you totally just made me cry.

I guess I don't really believe it will happen but you saying that made it seem like it just might! My sister believes I can do it and will come support me!!?? Means the world to me.

I love YOU girl!

awwww. cuter... Stacie, OF COURSE you are going to do it. Has there really ever been any doubt? There hasn't been in my mind anyway. St.George isn't happening for me this year. bummer.

Nice workout!

Sounds like you scored great accommodations for the marathon. I got lucky too - I'm about a half hour drive from the bus loading area...
