| | For a little pre-season cross-training, I biked a little over 8 and a half miles on the stationary. Felt it burning in my glutes...not a muscle I am used to using! Don't they say you divide it by 2 to get "running miles"? Idk. Abs afterwards.

| | Good run! Sort of. It wa supposed to be a progression run, and ended up being more like relaxed tempo....but anyways the progression should have been from ~8:00-->7:20, so averaging out at 7:40. I kinda went 7:40 till the very end, so averaged out 7:38. But its okay. I felt pretty good, just got a little excited. Hurdle work and stretching afterwards.

| | 55 minute progressive tempo at Western & the rec. Averaged 7:36 which came up to be 7.24 miles. Slowest mile was the first, at 8:07, and fastest was the 6th at 7:25. Last mile was close though, at 7:30.

Not sure how many people actually read my blog but I figured I'd put this out there. This summer (starting in 8 days) I am spending 8 weeks in Myrtle Beach living, working, and receiving ministry training together in community with a bunch of other college students for a program called Leadership Project through a campus ministry called Campus Outreach that I am involved with at Wofford. I'll be running in the mornings during the designated time for athletes to practice, then working a job off-site for a few hours during the day, then returning to our site and doing bible study activities, going to seminars, and learning about evangelism tactics. I would majorly appreciate prayerful and financial support!! | | Straight up blissful run today! I was actually sad it was over. I felt like I could have happily gone at least another half an hour before I would feel like I was bored or tired or something. I know we are easing back into it and trying not to get anyone injured now or burnt out later, but I'm ready to get back into my big girl mileage. Anyways, 8:12 pace + full body circuit afterwards. 666 calories according to Genevieve (my watch)...I always suspected counting calories was satanic

In other news...3 days till LP!!! Also in other news, by the looks of our next schedule set for training these next 2 weeks, I'd say stuff just got real. I'm psyched to get mileage back up, and for fartleks on Wednesdays!
