Woke up today to another BIG Texas storm!  Husband had gone running at 4 a.m. and I was worried about him being in the lightening storm.

Workout called for 13 miles.... ALMOST got there on the TM.  Right at 12.6 I had to stop and go to the restroom, dang.  Oh well, I did it.  Last 5 miles were at a very nice pace.  :)

My shirt was dripping and I rung it out various times on the TM.  Nasty.

I LOVE those storms! When we lived in Houston and the traffic would get bad, we would go to a 5pm movie in the city to wait out the traffic. We would get popcorn and a coke for dinner. Those are some of my favorite "pre-kids" memories. Great run!!!!!

wringing out your shirt? nice :)

remember when we did our half marathon on the TM on Thanksgiving? yeah...good times. That is the furthest I've ever run on a TM, so you are good to get at it by yourself!

I've only ever made it 10 miles on the treadmill, way to go!!!

having to wring out your shirt = a true (and tough) athlete. nice job, bec.

my sister jessica asked about you the other day and she says hello.

Thanks for all of the TM encouragement! Somehow, sometimes I can somehow zone out the first 6ish miles of a TM run.

Allie, Thanks for the comment. When I saw your pictures from the Provo race with Jess in them, I was wondering about her too. What cute sisters you have! Is she still dancing and teaching her little heart out? I hope so. Running has stolen my flexibility and I can't do a jete to save the life of me. I am not teaching dance in Del Rio, but I sure do miss it. I hope she is as happy as ever.
