Utah Valley Marathon 2013: PR 3:16:20, 1st division.

Running With the Bulls 5k 2011: 20:02, 1st place

Race For The Cure 10k, San Antonio 2013: 42:47, 2nd overall

Short-Term Running Goals:

Run a sub 3:20 @ Air Force Marathon 2015.

Sub 20 min 5k

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 3(ish) hour marathon before I am 40.

Last long run/workout before my taper for UVM. I am really proud of this run. First 6.5 were up. East aspen trail with the last 3.5 up a mountain pass. I walked every .50 on the last 3 miles to bring my heart rate down. Then I got to run down after I hit 6.5, what an awesome reward for all of the climbing.

Sounds like an awesome place to run! Had to have been fun to get in a good workout at altitude before your taper. Nice run today!

Good looking workout. Don't taper too much. You are in a good groove, you don't want to fall out.
