Today I only went 3 but felt great!!  I was happy before when 3 felt like a piece of cake and I feel that way again.  Even with the hills and pushing Anna, I just really felt good today.  The plan was to do 4.5 again but when I got up and looked at the clock I realized I had hit the snooze to many times.

Anyway, I tried a caramel powergel today.  I took 1/2 about 5 minutes before I left and then the rest at about 1 mile.  I think with only 3 miles, it wasn't a very good test of the stuff, but I want to get my stomache used to both those and to drinking more water.  I will keep trying them and especially on the longer runs.  I did get a bit of a side ache at 2.5 and that could have either been the water or the gel, I don't know.  If anyone has in-site on how to use the stuff, I would be glad to hear.  Thanks.

Glad to be running again!!
