Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

It was quite windy this morning and a little chilly, but I felt good.  Didn't have to push the stroller today which was nice.  Although, I have noticed that with pushing the stroller I am getting stronger and faster (not alot, but enough for now).

Happy to be running!!

I just looked through your last few months. It looks like you are doing very well! Your race in March sounds like it was beautiful! I think it is great that you can get out and run with your daughter in a stroller! That takes a lot of effort! Like you say, it is making you stronger and faster! Did you put your name in for the St. George Marathon yet? I'm hoping to run it for my first marathon this year also.

Thank you for your comment. I absolutely hated pushing the stroller at first, but I also need to run, so I did it and am used to it now and don't mind it so much anymore.

I am planning on signing up for the marathon, just have to wait until payday. Running gets expensive, but well worth it!!!

Thanks again. Happy running!!!

Nice week! This has been one of your best since you started, right? Most consistent and highest mileage. Nice job!

Most consistent and I definately am feeling better and better. I am sure pretty close on miles also, especially after the 10k tomorrow morning (yep, pushing daughter on that one).

Dad and I are doing 13 on monday so that I am ready for the Hurricane 1/2. I am excited for that. Dad may not be able to run so slow though.
