I'm new to running scene.  My father, brother and brother-in-law have all ran marathons, so I thought I'd give running a try.

Coming off an injury (Excuses, Excuses!!)

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get some 5K's, 10K's and a few half marathons under my belt. Stay injury free to run the 2009 St. George Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

2009 STG Marathon!!!!!!!!!!

Personal:

 1 daughter who want to be a runner.  She wants to be fast like her  uncle and grandpa, not slow like her mom.

I have been way to lazy the last week and it felt so good to get up and run again.  I felt a bit groggy because it had been so long since I last ran. 

Same 3 as always.

hi there, i just found your blog. Slow Poke? Really? Gosh, I'm a standing still next to those finish times. If you are a slow poke then I'm going to have to change my blog name to something more fitting.... perhaps "go slug go" :)
