57F, WNW 16-23 mph.  7:45 AP.  Interesting run for a weather nerd.  I ran about an hour after the squall line came through but just before the cold air from the actual front.  In the relatively short time I was out there, I could feel the winds transiting from south to north by the end of the run.

The plan for the rest of the week is a lot more plain ol' aerobic running like this to recover from the half, then 10 @ MP on Sunday in my long run.

Nice job. Interesting about the weather change.

Nice run - it was quite windy down here as well - though coming up from the south. Cold front gets here later today.

Sweet, so 10 at 6:50 pace. I will be in Houston in January. We are coming down to watch the trials the day before and then probably the marathon the next day. I'm thinking we need to hook up with you and Danielle!

I ran through a front once, it was interesting. Some of them move pretty fast and they don't last long. I might be doing the same thing in the morning.

I love watching/feeling a storm blow in. Makes for an interesting run. 10 miles recovery run...that would be a training run for me! ha!

DG - thanks, definitely interesting in a nerdy kind of way

dh - hope you are enjoying it now

April - 10 at 6:5x pace, how bout that? Hey, that is pretty cool that you are coming to Houston and agreeing to ditch your family for a few hours in order to pace me. You are so nice! I won't need you the whole race, just the last 25 miles or so. We'll have to carb you up the night before, so we'll definitely make some plans.

Flat - hope you got a little love from the cold front - Houston seems to take forever to cool off.

S8 - yeah there was still a good amount of lightning off to the east, fun to watch!
