5 easy miles w/ Heather.  10 min. pace.  Felt really good today. Went out at 6am, much more cool & comfortable than my runs last week.

Lybi, Mik'L, Michelle, Sarah (and all other bloggers!)- I'm excited to meet you & hang out this weekend! Here's my plans at this point...

Friday: Expo before 1:00 while my kids are still in school.  If anyone can join me that would be great, but I know that might be early for some of you getting in town. If you gals get together and go to expo later, call me- maybe I can break away again!

Fri. night: Party! I'll plan on getting there about 5:30 or earlier of you need help Mik'L. I'm bringing Heather & her husband Dave and my hubby Jim.  (will probably leave the kiddos at home).

Sat- well, you know what I'll be doing that morning! Toby has an afternoon soccer game- after that I have no plans except to chill! So if everyone is gets together for a post race party that sounds fun to me too!

I'd invite everyone over BUT my house is a scary fixer upper construction zone, so I just don't.  Maybe next year?!

Here's my phone numbers (H) 652-5118 and (C) 817-1572.  Cell will have my husband (Jim's) name on it, 'cause my phone is broken so I've confiscated his- don't be afraid to leave message!

Not sure when we'd fit in a run, but if we can figure it out I'm game.  You all may have to run Sat. morning without me.

Cool- countdown to the weekend is on!

Hey Christi! I'm so excited to meet & hang out with you too! If James and I can get off on or before 6 am, we might be able to get to St. George around the time you want to go to the expo. That'd be AWESOME! James' cell is (480) 648-6623. We'll call you when we get close, and maybe we can meet somewhere. I know, James can drop me off at the expo while he drives the course! This is going to be GREAT!

Well I guess we can try to plan here...thanks Christi! Paul and his wife are staying with us starting Thursday night and I have Friday off, so I will be doing whatever Friday (driving course maybe, expo for sure, etc...Steve and Kendra Hooper will be at the expo for the SGRC and won't be able to make it to the party *Expo is at the Dixie Center Michelle) until 3:30. Ally (Holt's wife, not on the blog) and I are hitting Costco at 3:30 to buy everything and then heading to my parents house to get it ready. So we should be there at 4:30ish? Anyone who wants to come by early to help cook and set up is welcome, but don't feel obligated either! Then we'll just hang out at the party until whenever.

Also, we usually tape blankets down at the finish line to save our spot. Last year I dropped Clyde off for the bus in the morning (way early!) and did it then, but depending on weather, sometimes you can do it the night before. If everyone is planning on meeting near the finish line to watch, then we could have a pretty big crowd (plus my sis and her family and my grandma will be coming too). So we need to definitely plan saving spots at some point.

Then Saturday night (this is getting long!) I guess we are planning to head back to my parents house around 6ish just to hang out. Clyde claims we are having birthday cake since it is my bday on the 6th and Stacy's (Paul's wife) on the 7th. We'll see about that...

So I really don't know when we can fit in a run??? I guess if we are crazy we could do it Saturday morning way early? Or I was even thinking we could run the Mayor's Walk, which is 2.1 miles and there is a huge group that walks and it finishes at the finish line. But we probably wouldn't have time to go home before the boys start coming in. What to do?
