It has been over a month since I ran on a regular basis and I can't stand it any longer. The doc said no running and no soccer until I have surgery and I have complied (until yesterday). The swelling in my knee has been fairly non-existent since, but so has any form of exercise. Due to my new job and my husbands wishes I am going to try and hold off on having ACL revision surgery until next summer (ughh). So, I have decided I am going to try and start a very conservative running regime. I figure if I keep my mileage low, stay off the hills, run flat paved runs (or on the treadmill) I can continue to run without aggravating my knee. Hopefully, this will work. Otherwise I think I will go crazy. I am addicted to running. 3.1 miles- AP 8:42.
