5K PR: Park City 5K 2009- 21:30 (2nd in AG)

10K PR: Freedom Run 1999 (1st race and only 10K)- 47:20

1/2 Marathon PR: Painters 2009- 1:38:37 (5th in AG)  Provo Halloween Half- 1:38:27  (4th in AG)

Marathon PR: Ogden 2009- 3:36 (12th in AG)

Short-Term Running Goals:

My goal is to run consistantly at least 5 days a week.  I would also like to bring my average pace back down into the 8's. 

 

2010 Races:

Painters Half (Jan): 1:45:25

Riverton Half (March): 1:46:29

Kamas 5K (July): 23:57

Hobblecreek Half (Aug): 1:43:33

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run as long as my bad knees will allow- hopefully forever.

Re-qualify for Boston.

Complete a marathon in less than 3:30 without having to walk at any point.

6.5 mi on the treadmill in 59:45. Started at a 6.0 (10 min/mi). Ended at 8.7 (6:53 pace). Walked .1 mi every mile (.5 mi total). +.5 mi cool down walk.

Running has been such a challenge lately. I can't seem to get up early enough to run outside so I'm stuck on the dreadmill and my knee is still driving me nuts. I love the feeling of a great run and have really missed it.

Went on a walking date with the hubby. Walked to dinner and then along JRP. I wish these were running miles but right know any miles on my old legs are pretty good. We kept a pretty brisk pace and had great conversation.

7 treadmill miles at the gym.    Ran 6 miles is 51.50 for an AP of 8:38.  I started out at a 9:13 pace and ended with a 7:30 pace.  .3 mile warm-up and .7 mile cool down for the additional mile.  The hubby wanted to continue playing basketball so I walked home from the gym (1 more mile).  

I was suppose to go to the orthopedic today but we had a mix up as to where he was located (he works in PC but the address I found using my Blackberry said SL)  Once I figured it out (10 minutes before my appt. time) they told me not to bother driving up to PC I would be too late and they wouldn't see me- they wanted to reschedule in a month.  I am so frustrated I could scream.

3 treadmill miles in 24.30. I ran the last .5 mi @ a 6.35 pace. Did a slow .1 mile warm up and a .9 mile cool down. Overall I felt really good. Running on my knee is strange though. It doesn't feel very stable so I have to run with a very guarded gate especially when I pick up the pace. I don't think my gate is affecting anything else but I'm defiantly watching it. Hoping to get an outside run in soon.
