Personal:

I've been running since high school (mid-1990s) and do pretty well when I'm focused on a goal. My main problem  is running consistently when I'm NOT training for something specific. I'm an attorney, and I've been married to my husband, also a runner, for 5 1/2 years. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.  We had a beautiful baby girl, Caroline, in August 2009.

No running today, but my husband and I went down to the Ironman and watched a couple hours of it.  A friend of ours was participating, trying to qualify for Hawaii, and we just got word that he finished in 10:05-amazing!

It was so inspiring to watch.  It's not often that marathoners can observe an even longer race.  We saw the second and third place females finish-very cool!

Maybe someday, after I run Boston, and learn how to bike and swim!

3.6 miles with no watch.  It was a beautiful night for a run.  Afterwards, I rode the bike around the neighborhood for 1.25 miles, which was fun.  I'm thinking about doing a 4.2 mile race on Saturday morning.  It's a huge race that we did last year, and the shirts are great.
