Personal:

I've been running since high school (mid-1990s) and do pretty well when I'm focused on a goal. My main problem  is running consistently when I'm NOT training for something specific. I'm an attorney, and I've been married to my husband, also a runner, for 5 1/2 years. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.  We had a beautiful baby girl, Caroline, in August 2009.

No running today, but my husband and I went down to the Ironman and watched a couple hours of it.  A friend of ours was participating, trying to qualify for Hawaii, and we just got word that he finished in 10:05-amazing!

It was so inspiring to watch.  It's not often that marathoners can observe an even longer race.  We saw the second and third place females finish-very cool!

Maybe someday, after I run Boston, and learn how to bike and swim!

Very cool to go watch Ironman. I heard it was on TV, but I missed it. How inspiring! So how is your running going? You still training for a marathon in May or June?

Christi, I signed up for the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon, but it's not going to happen now. I have been very bad with the running. I'm thinking about St. George, but I'd better decide quickly, or it will fill up! Are you doing St. George again??

Yes! I'm doing SG Marathon again, you should come down & do it. I would be fun to meet you, there's guaranteed to be a big "bloggie" get-together. The deadline to register is the end of this month, and as you probably know- its a lottery. So you can register & leave it to fate!
