Today I tried out running again. We did a lap warmup then strides by the drinking fountain. My foot was still hurting. Bill told me not to do the speed part because it was hurting. So I timed everyone and ran back and forth from the start line to the mile mark or the 800. Afterward we had a Dutch oven breakfast!

When I got home my mom took me to Steiner and I did another pool run. 10 minutes warmup, then 15 x 1 minute on 1 minute off, then 10 minute cool down. Went up to the treadmill and elliptical area and got on he elliptical for a little over 35 minutes to get the distance thing at 3.00.

Then went to the doctor, he said it was most likely plantar fasciitis like Bill said, gave me a prescription for physical therapy and basically said to do what I've been doing. Also got my physical (haha it's about time) and ferritin levels tested, as well as some shots that I didn't want but apparently needed to get.

Went to practice today thinking I'd only go to the rock pile and back. When I started my foot hurt a little, but not to bad and I was able to push through it. I saw Bill coming back from starting earlier and he asked if I was going to the 4 so I decided I would. I felt kind of out of shape but my foot felt okay only hurt a little. Happy to be running again!!

My dad didn't want me to run today, so I went to the pool and did 10 minutes warmup, then a ladder of 1 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off, 3 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 3 off, then back down this time doing a second 5 on 3 off. Then 10 minute cool down. I forgot shorts (ha) so I didn't do the elliptical

Not sure how far today really was. Bill had this thing that heats up your foot and it helped it not hurt as much. And I took ibuprofen. It helped. We ran to sugarhouse. It was faster than I was expecting, 7:45 pace which isn't bad. I was expecting above 8 for sure. We did hill strides at a nameless hill. Then we did 15 minutes of fireman and ran back to the track.

Today we went to the cemetery and did a lap then went back to the track for a warmup, then did 2 chase 300s, and then 2 800s. The first one was 2:57 I think, and then the second one was 3:something I kind of crashed. Then we did 2 grass laps cool down.

Today my family participated in the Color run 5k! It was way fun! I just walked most of it with my cousin because they didn't time it or anything it was just for fun. They threw corn starch at us every kilometer, it had a specific color they threw each time. So first it was purple, then yellow, orange, pink, then blue. They also had water with green in it that they sprayed every so often. At the end they had the "color festival" where everyone threw the color in the packets we got from registering in to the air. Pretty cool and it was one of the funnest races I have ever done. Also it was the first race I have practically walked the whole thing... Afterward I decided to rest my foot.
