Today I ran with Natalie, Tomy, Bill, and Abigail. But mostly Abigail. Tomy Bill and Natalie did a longer run. I ran with the whole group for a little while, but then I got way tired and slowed down a bit. Abigail fell back with me. We were at the Jordan River Parkway at 53rd and 10th and just followed that trail for 40 minutes while the other 3 went off doing who knows how much maybe 12???? I don't know. Well, by the 4 mile mark I was tired and really did not want to run anymore. But Abigail made me. (thank you abigail!!! It helped me!!) I'm glad she did though. If she wasn't there I would've walked tons of it. I walked a little on the way back. I eventually fell back from Abigail and got a little lost. I'm never doing that again. There was a part where the path split off into 4 parts and I just chose the one with 1) lots of footprints marked into the snow 2) the biggest pavement part like the widest 3) went in the general direction of going back. I chose wisely. I saw Abigail running when it opened up a bit. I just followed the area I saw her running in (it split off yet again) and got back sooner than I expected. when the others got back we did a few drills we normally do, except they were soooo much harder to do and more painful. But i got through it. 8 miles.

I had an Orthodontist appointment today, so I had to miss the speed workout they did. Instead I went for my own run, and did a small fartlek thing. I did 3 minutes on with 3 minutes recovery 3 times. I started at my house, went to Harrison Ave. and went up to 19th, then went over to sunnyside. I went up to Foothill Dr. and along it until I got to the cemetery we always go in. I did a loop, went back along 13th to sunnyside and up until Le Grande St. I went along it to 9th south and went down to Military Ave. I followed it to 17th, then went back to Browning, and down to 16th and over to 17th South and to 15th East to 13th South and back over to my house and went around my circle a little ways to make it 8 miles.

Today was a pretty good run. We went from East, to sugarhouse, then did a run I have no way of describing because I kept focused on trying to keep up with the group. We went over a bridge and then it got all turn-y and stuff. We went to a cemetery and then over a bridge and followed the same way we came. Bill wanted me to stay with the group so I tried the best I could. I stayed up with them (and even was in the front all the way to sugarhouse) until I crashed like half of the way in sugarhouse. I fell back, but when we went on the bridge over the freeway, I started to pick up my pace because I don't know this run and I didn't want to get lost. I was trying as hard as I could to get up to them, that when I did I felt sooo worn out. I didn't want to finish, but I didn't even know how to get back. We had taken so many turns that I just decided to stay with the group. I eventually fell back again, and when I got to that super busy street next to the cemetery it took forever to cros because the cars kept coming. I just waited for them at the gate because I didn't want to get lost on the way back. I stretched while I waited. Then they came, and I tried yet again to keep up with them, but yet again failed. I was super tired and had a cramp the whole way back from sugarhouse, but I went what felt like pretty fast because I needed to get home. I did 10 miles, while the group did 11 (they did a lap in the cemetery that was a mile. good for them)

So I felt really tired today. I really did not want to run. we did drills at track that took lots of my energy. Then went for the run. We went to sugarhouse and did a fartlek. 5 min on, 3 min off, 4 minutes on, 3 minutes off, 3 minutes on, 3 minutes off, 2 minutes on, 2 minutes off, and 1 minute on, 1 minute off. I felt horrible. I was sore everywhere. It hurt to run, especially up the hills. Bill wanted me to stay with the group, but I was back behind Sarah B. at the end of all of those. Bill and Natalie came back to me on the offs and kept me going (thank you guys I would've stopped lots more than I did.) when we were done with the fartlek and were going back to East, I stayed with kevin for a bit. It was nice to talk to someone about the workout and how horrible it was for me. But then I got a huge cramp yet again and fell back from him. I ran back on my own, but I missed 2 of the 3 lights and had to wait. Thats why it took so long for me to get back. I was also going at a slow pace. 8 miles.

So, today was easier because of the meet tomorrow. We ran up to the track, and then finished the warm up of a mile and then did 2 miles speed changes, and half mile on the track with running back to the school.

Race: Weber State meet (2 Miles) 00:13:45, Place overall: 21, Place in age division: 2

Track meet was today. It was in Ogden at the Weber State University. I ran the 2 mile and got 13:45 on it i think. I Believe I was 21 overall, but im not certain. I got 2nd in the 2nd heat though! :) I like being in the slower group because then I can get close to winning! Its a great feeling. Anyway, I did a 3/4 mile warm up with Natalie, Olivia, Camille, and Tomy. Then we did a few drills, and I raced. then I went on a 1 mile run with a few people. It was raining and I was super cold and could not feel my legs so I was in the back. towards the end I couldn't feel my face either. Too cold for me, I don't like it. Then we cheered on everyone else. I was just gonna go home after that, but bill wanted me to stay for the 800. So i did. Bill, Dakota, Chris, and i went to Ihop with the Hursts. I had a yummy crepe!!! it was delicious! But I only ate 1 and saved the other 3 for later. Then we went back, and we had to wait about 2 more hours because they were so behind! ug. We did 3/4 mile while they were having a "lunch break"but then they kicked us off the track for more races. I did about a mile's worth of strides and did more drills before racing again. I Did the 800 and got a 2:55 on it. I am kinda in between liking that time and disliking it. I didn't know what to expect and I feel I could've done better. The beginning took me by surprise with the amount of pushing and elbows being used. I got hit a couple times. wow. But im happy because I usually do a 3:30 at the speed workouts. Then I did a mile cool down
