Regions!!!
Total of 2 miles warmup (including speed changes.) Then I grabbed my spikes and ran over to the line and did some drills and strides. Counting those as a half mile because I did so many.
Then I ran the 1600. Unfortunately, this was my last chance to qualify for state. I had to get in the top 4 to do so, or run a 5:18. The first 2 laps were good, I was in fourth. Then on my third lap, I crashed, and let people go in front of me. I feel that if I would have kept up, then I would've been there. I got 8th. So at least I scored a point for our team. Ha I was also seeded 8th.
Then I did 2 miles cool down. Just did grass laps. Really disappointed, but maybe next year. |
