Today we went to Cottonwood Complex. We did the big loop, then went over to the start of region course and did 10 strides. Then over to Bessie and did that a couple times all the way up to the fence, then recover to double trunk tree and fast again to the bottom. Then we went over to the hill by the triple trunk tree and apple tree, then to Miranda and did that one way and back, then over to roller coaster one way and back. Then Bessie full loop twice. And that concludes hill week. My arch hurt when we started strides, I ignored it because lately it's been warming up after a while and hasn't bothered me much, but it never went away. When we were doing Bessie the first time it still hurt, but when I stopped it would start hurting even more. Apple tree hill still bugged me but was manageable, then roller coaster was where I really started to feel it. The last two Bessie hills it was hurting a ton, when we stopped at the drinking fountain and started again to do a little cool down I honestly couldn't walk on it, it hurt so bad! I limped all the way back to the cars and felt like a loser not doing the cool down. Stupid plantar fasciitis. I'm seriously hoping I don't have a repeat of last year. |
