Today was Weber. First indoor track race! I didn't do so well though... But it's the first track race so I guess no one ever really does amazingly good except for the people like Tomy and Chris who just always do good. Anyway, I started warming up with Ryan then decided I should go to the bull pen. so I went over there and they gave us our bibs and took our cards and placed us into heats, I was in the faster one. They decided to do the slowest first. So Abigail and I did drills and strides and more warmup stuff. Counting it all as 1.5

So for the 3200 I did really bad. Bill gave us pep talks and such about getting 1 and 2, I wanted to but I don't think I wanted it enough. I thought it would be cool and all, but I should've gotten into the mindset that NO ONE will take 1 and 2 away from us. Yeah, I should've thought more about it so that when the time came I would've been prepared. Anyway, first few laps Abigail and I led, then I lost it and fell off. I wish I would've tried to hang on. When they lapped me I think I just gave up a bit. But last lap I tried to get going, not sure if I moved much faster though. I got 13:28 & 10th place overall.

Then Bill said to eat food and then go for a cool down. I cooled down 2.5 outside in the freezing cold. But it was nice to be able to think and be alone for a little bit.

In between sleeping and laying around, I ran a mile with Bill and Chris.

Then I warmed up with the milers doing C things in the hallways. Went to the bull pen and got my bib and ran the 1600.

I felt like I was much more consistent in this one, it was slow but Bill said time doesn't matter right now. 5:54 with 7th place.

Then Emmaline decided she wanted to do the 4x800. Lovely. So I did that. I was the first leg, I think maybe I thought "hey, it'll be easy" and forgot how hard the 800 actually is. I tried to hang on to the front girl, but she gapped me, then the other girls caught up to me, but at least I was tied for last and not super far back. Yeah, are team lost. But I tried! Then .5 cooldown.
