it was 103 degrees out when I finally got out to run today so I decided to throw a swim in the middle of my run. I ran 5 out to the island, stopped and did a 10 minute swim which felt great and helped me cool down, then ran home.

10 miles AP 7:45.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I was on about mile 7 and I ran past a car with the passenger sitting there smoking with his window down. He was kind of pudgy. Anyways he yelled out the ever so creative "Run Forest" so I turned and looked at him and yelled "Sit Fat boy." I felt a little bad, but oh well it made me smile also.

Good on you Bro Rhett. Excellent response to the "fat Boy"! I'm surprised "fat boy" didn't have a bag of chips and a six pak of beer on the seat next to him.

YOU JUST MADE MY DAY! GREAT RESPONSE!

Good for you for responding the way you did. Don't feel bad about it.

Nice run in the heat. Good idea taking a dip in the lake.

Remember when those two old guys followed us on one of our 20 milers? My response there must have rubbed off on you, with a few less swear words.
