Not quite as much as you Yasir. Mon, Tus, and Wed I usually do 10, but then on Thurs and Sat I bike and do a short run, usually 4. Fri I go long. Sun I rest.

Two things I dislike is the wind and warmer weather when I run especially a 10 miler. Nice run !!!
Like you I love to cross train with bike but I struggle mentally with not logging running miles when I'm training for a marathon. Do you ever feel this way? It is definitely working for you you're times are Great.

In the past I have, but since I started doing triathlons, I feel more guilty if I don't get some biking in, even when I'm ramping up for a marathon. I'm also 100% convinced that biking makes me a much better and healthier runner.

That's central Texas weather...just add 99% humidity!

I guess I needed someone to agree with me to make me feel better but I totally agree with you. Biking in no way (either MTB or Road) is equal to running but it does give my body a Good cardio workout without the wear and tear on my body that running would have put on it.

Glad your healthy right now. I seem to remember you having a lower leg injury a while back. Maybe a stress fracture?

Derunzo, yes shortly after my last sub 3 marathon(Boston 2010) I got a stress fracture in my tibia which kept me from running for about 6 months. Since then it seems I have had one injury or another, mostly with my lower legs. This past year I focused more on triathlons than just running and seem to be the healthiest I have been since before that 2010 race. Hopefully I stay that way.
