Well, I didn't run the race much faster than I run a Sat. long run, so I figured I might as well do some mild speed work. I am keeping it easy all week though. No tempo runs or track work.

Hey Rhett, how is the pain in your foot? I sure hope it's getting better.
Yeah, it's really fun looking at the race pictures. I don't like mine, though. Some of them look like I'm barely moving. LOL.
I never like the race photos... maybe I can pay somebody to photo shop my thighs... Anyway I am glad you are back to doing some speed work but you are going to do more this month right... I think you meant speed work for the week.
About what grade of hills do you generally do sprints on ... and how long are they as well. I need to start doing those.
Kathie,
I hate all my race pictures too ... I think there should be a way to disable other users to see them. (although I don't want anyone else to be able to disable theirs ... I want to see those ones!)
Teena, it depends, but when I do them at the end of an easy run I usually do 10 sprints at about a 5% grade for 10 to 15 seconds each and then recover for 45 to 50 seconds. I start a sprint at the top of each minute.
