10.8 easy miles that were made tougher by a lot of climbing. No significant shin pain this morning.  Felt pretty good.

PM- Core work.  I've decided I need to start doing my core work at least twice a week since I've quit going to the gym and lifting weights.

Just curious, what is the easy pace you've been doing these runs? I bet it's still faster than my fastest pace. Lol

From Rhett on Mon, Dec 06, 2010 at 17:37:35 from 170.215.59.130

Dale, I've been trying to run by feel and not look at my watch. When I'm all done I take a peek to see what the pace was. It is funny that easy some days has been as fast as 7:30 and some days as slow as 8:40. Today was a slower day, I was right at 8:30, but Sat. easy was 7:30.

From Smooth on Mon, Dec 06, 2010 at 17:42:03 from 67.2.111.170

Ummm, yeah...your slowest pace IS faster than my fastest pace! :)

Nice miles, Rhett (You realize that the extra .8 (or minus .2) miles is really bothering some of our OCD friends (..er, Kathie!) Finish on a nice multiple of .25 miles next time. :)

From Kathie on Tue, Dec 07, 2010 at 13:03:11 from 63.248.105.188

Hey Marc I looked the other way on this one...I didn't bring it up you did!

They say that the core work makes you a stronger runner (as if you need to be any stronger or faster!!!)
