Rhett...Since I can't get on my own blog while I'm at work, I'll respond to your question here. Yes, I'm definitely feeling stronger with only running three days per week. By not running so many days per week, it allows me to actually WANT to do the weight training on the off days. It seems to be working out perfectly. Before, when I was running five days per week, I never had the energy to get in good, quality runs OR weight lifting and most of the time I was skipping any kind of speed work, so obviously, it was making me slower. It feels so good to do speed work on a regular basis and it makes the runs more interesting and I enjoy them more. Thanks for asking.

Rhett....do you go to a gym for your deep water running or do you have a pool at your home?

Kimmy, I'm fortunate to have a pool here at our home. I don't know if I would go to the gym to do it. Luckily I've been injured during the summer the last two years, so the water isn't too cold to use the pool for rehab. I don't know what I will do if I ever get injured in the winter.
