My calf was sore this morning, and I was bumming with last night's failed run.  I knew I shouldn't run, so I did the next best thing: Stairs.

10 min. elliptical

40 min stair (8 repeats- 3min run/2 min walk)

10 min. stationary bike

My calf is still pretty sore this afternoon, but it felt good to have a good workout.  If things don't improve quickly, my chances of BQing UVM are going to be slim.

I am so hoping for a miracle right now, maybe it will go away just as fast as it appeared!

Dang, Rhett, that just plain stinks. I wonder why it doesn't hurt doing the stairs?

From Smooth on Wed, May 25, 2011 at 16:22:33 from 67.2.121.30

I am puzzled that the calf allows you to do all these xtraining with no problem and yet running bugs!

Hoping for a miracle as Kathie said.

Sending healing thoughts your way! :)

Yes Kathie, Dale, and Smooth; it's very weird that it only bothers me when I run. I think maybe it actually has something to do with my hamstring being tight so when I run the stairs and am not using my hammys much it doesn't bother me.

On a good note, it feels pretty good today, so I'll try and run again tomorrow.
