Headed out the door for a 20 miler, but right off the bat I could tell my calf wasn't right, so I turned around went home and drove to the gym.
1 hour elliptical
15 minutes stationary bike.
STUPID CALF!

I think you just need to get a calfectomy. At least the cross training doesn't irritate it though.

Are you KT taping it? Would compression sleeves help? Have you foam roll after runs?

Mack, I am so grateful I can cross train or I'd be going crazy.
Smooth, I'm doing all of the above, plus icing. I just can't figure it out. I have a few good runs and then all of the sudden it just goes again. I can't really even describe it well and the pain isn't always in the same part of the calf, but when it acts up it feels like something is about to tear in there.
