1 mile barefoot in the grass with strides followed by a 40 minute swim in the lake. It was really windy causing a lot of waves, but it was fun. I hope to get in a good tempo run tonight. Hopefully it won't be so windy.

Still really windy this evening.  After 1 mile warm up, I did 4 miles at tempo effort (6:38 avg.) then 2.5 cool down.  The strong wind made the tempo miles tough and a little slower than I would have liked, but it was good to get them done.

Thanks DRun. Even though I'm running a marathon in June, I'm in triathlon mode since summer is approaching.

Some day I'll tackle the swim again. Reading your posts gets me fired up for it. 4 miles at 6:38?! Looking good.

Thanks Matt and Yasir. I like my tempo runs to be at 6:30 pace, but I'll take it since it was really windy and I just can't seem to run as fast at night for some reason.

Great Job! Thanks for the input on the bike tire. I was hoping it was just the CO2. Trust me, I don't plan to be up to your speed anytime soon. I am just hoping I can get faster so I can keep up better with you during marathon training next year!
