Wake up weight- 166  so I lost 4 lbs (2.35% of my weight- I wonder if I would stay above the yellow line on Biggest Loser this week?) in my first week.  Less than 3 weeks to go to lose 6 more.  AM

I cut my workout a bit short so I could go home and register for the Boston Marathon which opened registration at 6am my time today.  I started trying to register at 6:00. I gave up at 6:30.  I tried again around 7, then 7:30.  I finally was able to register at about 8:45.  It will be interesting to see how fast this thing fills up this year.

LUNCH

I got done with my morning patients early, so I headed home, changed into running clothes and took off.  I decided to take advantage of the sun light and headed to explore more desert running trails.  I found some better trails that were a bit easier to run today.  A few times the hills got steep enough that I couldn't run up or down them, but most of it was runable.  I ran 5.5 easy miles.  It was real fun.  I better get back to work.

PM

2 miles in the vibrams.  I had a lot of energy today.

Yeah!! I am so glad you got registered! I am proud of you for losing 4 lbs. even though I am still closer to winning than you- ha, ha. Also, you and Tiff must have gone to the same schools because you both always spell "losing" wrong. If your shoelace is loose it is spelled with 2 o's but if you are losing weight it is only one o. I know you are so appreciative I my spelling lesson today. Love you sexy buns.

Thanks Sweetie, I have never claimed to be a good speler. :)

Sounds like a great run. You gotta love it when you get an extra long lunch!

CONGRATZ on the weight loss. (Loss is a noun. Loose is the opposite of tight. Lost is the past tense of lose which is a verb.) How's that for grammar lesson from a Chinese girl?

I heard people were having difficulty registering when it first opened in the morning. I purposely waited until almost 10am MDT to register and got in instantly. CRAZY how fast it filled up!

I'm glad you got in. Am sooo bummed that Teena was in school and missed it! Who would have thought it filled up in 8 hours.

NICE run! I think dirt trail running is nice. I will be running 50K of it on Sat.

Smooth, thanks for the grammar lesson. Maybe I won't forget that any more now. I hope you have a great 50 K on Sat. That is 1 mile farther than I have ever run.

I can't believe Teena didn't get in. That makes me so sad. I can only imagine how bummed that makes you.
