Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

I took the past two days off so I thought I'd push the distance today.  Kept everything at a normal pace (in the 8s) and drank water throughout.  It was a slug fest at miles 19-21 since I didn't take in any fuel.  Thankfully it got a better during the last few miles so I didn't walk it in.  Pretty tired now.

12 miles at normal paces during the first half and then pushed the pace more during the second half mixing in some fartleks at various speeds.  Legs were stiff during the first mile, but had good zip during the rest of the run.  I think eating a solid meal last night was key to the recovery.

Jogged and walked 2 miles with Claire.

Intended to go my usual 12 miles, but after a bathroom stop I felt clammy and dizzy so I turned around at 4 miles.

Only thing worth noting is I mixed in some speed play and I hit a bad spot during miles 16 and 17 that eventually subsided.
