Personal:

I started more dedicated running and racing in my thirties.  Eventually I developed symptomatic bradycardia and SVT which required a cardiac pacemaker implant and a cardiac cath ablation.  It has taken a long time to get back to running consistently again.  Counting my blessings and trying to remain more balanced with fitness.

Mostly pain free run until half way point, but pain subsided.  Kind of strange.

It's good to see you're making progress. Do you have a diagnosis or an idea of the problem?

Thanks Dave. I'm pretty sure it's my IT band and tendonitis. Rolling and stretching have helped.

I've had 3 different bad episodes with mine. It always seems to take a while. I think the most important thing that helped mine was just trying to make sure I ended my runs before it would start to hurt and not run until it got sore. I like the run walk like you have been doing too. If you're doing 7 milers you must be well on your way to recovery. Good luck with it.
