After beating up my legs on the slopes the last two days and feeling a bit under the weather, I thought I'd take it easy today. But the treadmill I got on gave me 99 minutes instead of the usual 60 (which I can just restart) before auto stopping. So in a moment of excitement at this opportunity to see what I could do in 99 minutes I reset my goals and completed 12 miles. From about mile 2 through mile 7 I dialed up the incline on the the first 1/4 mile to 5.0 to similute some hill climbing and ended up climbing 600 feet over the course of the run. Good day. I even had a slight cold last night and I think it blew that out of my system. |
