providence panda fun run, technically a race but not really with 16 entrants and second place finishing 7 minutes behind me, no one came to race, so why call it a race report? mile splits were something like 5:58 (downhill) , 6:22 (uphill), 6:12 (Up then down), and 5:10 (down) for 0.1 miles for 19:01. I can't really complain about the time with my fitness level and shin and PF problems.

nice race, scott. it sounds like you got a good workout in, and maybe a panda?

what's the status on your shin and PF? hopefully feeling better?

also, thanks for the comment on my report yesterday -- good insight and definitely something to look into. i had trouble with asthma when i was playing soccer, but it sort of "went away" over time...

thanks Allie. the PF and I are kind of in a truce due to the help of a night splint. the shin has always bothered me to some extent so no use worrying about it til it breaks!

thanks for the wedding bells invite, I am going to see if I will be here or in coyote gulch with the scouts then. hopefully here as it looks fun. I need to choose my team wisely.... I am thinking Paul Petersen to run 11.5 laps and me to run 1, where we split the earnings evenly (50:50)

Nice job! Even with a long layoff and with no competition, you could still beat me. Glad your PF is doing better. Did you turn 50 yet? If so, you should update your blog profile? And are you running BB this year?
