water running for about 50 minutes. what a dumb activity. tonight I have an appt with Paul's magic muscle massage therapist. maybe she can figure something out. 

weird... after water running the swelling in my foot and lower calf is all but gone. before that icing and ibuprofen didn't even help it out. why would water running reduce swelling?

thanks, I am going to have her just work my calves- I have more faith in her diagnostic abilities than doctors. And it is cheaper than the co-pay for going to the doctor and being told I strained my calf.

Sorry to hear about your injury. That marathon training seams to be hard on us older runners. Hope it heals up quickly
