5:00am Jeremiah 12 - Lamentations 3

About 7 miles before meeting with John at the coffee shop, Preston is sick today so I'm running solo. I had a nice visit and prayer with John and headed back out to finish my run about 7am.

7:00am

I planned to run out to Gravelly Lake and do three laps before heading home. By the time I got there I knew I would want to cut it short after one or two laps so I opted to just go out past the lake until I hit 10 miles and then turn around. That way I would have to finish my 20 to get home. This was a challenge after my 7 mile "warmup", I really had to dig deep to finish the last 5.

And look at the sprint to the finish! Nicely done there on that 27 miles. You have turned into a MACHINE, and a very fast one at that! Make sure to give me your Boston # so I can have fun tracking you again this year!

Monster Run..! By your times at the end it doesn't look like you were struggling at all...!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Fri, Mar 09, 2012 at 15:41:28 from 174.253.200.241

Kelli - I'm feeling like a broken machine after this run :) I'll post my bib number as soon as I find out what it is. I remember getting it by this time last year.

IJR - I was struggling big time! I'm still feelin' it. Tomorrow is definitely going to be a rest day.

Well, you may feel broken but you clearly are not!

Rattle... will you be wearing the flame gear for Boston this year? I need to be able to spot you and scream my head off!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Sat, Mar 10, 2012 at 15:57:49 from 98.247.27.122

Derunzo - Yes, I will be. Are you gonna have a cold one ready for me?

allie - Thanks, I can't imagine doing a tougher run before Boston. It's all downhill from here.

Derunzo - I shouldn't be hard to spot in that outfit.

JD - I've always loved Boston, especially that first album. Kind of cheesy, but still rockin' after 36 years!
