Felt pretty good today, total time was 42:06. Did 2 miles at about an 8:00 pace and then backed off for the rest giving my knee a rest and not wanting to get an injury. Came home and stretched for about 10 minutes, and then did some strength training on my upper body for about 30 minutes. My pace averaged out at about 8:21 for the 5 mile stretch, my goal is to get faster and then be able to keep the pace on longer runs and eventually improve my marathon and 10k race times. |
