I ran out to Payson Park this morning, I wanted to be running the Speedy Spaniard with all my blogger friends but it just didn't happen. So I decided to run my own little progression run and see how the IT band would hold up. I started out with an up pace warm up mile (8:40) and then the rest of the miles went like this; 8:12, 8:04, 7:43, 7:55 some up hill in that one, 7:56, 7:32 after that I had a .17 cool down... On  mile 6 I lost my concentration alittle bit but my main goal was to once I was under an 8 minute mile to hold at or under an 8 minute mile and I accomplished that. I know these aren't lightening fast but considering all the crap I've been going through I feel pretty good about this one and the great thing was that my IT-band didn't bother me at all so that was pretty cool! Average pace was 8:00 with my HR average at 151 total time was 57:37.  My legs felt pretty good for a change I didn't seem to have the dead leg issue that I have been fighting lately, I don't know how they will be tomorrow but we will see. I have to go and do some more service hours tomorrow for my dedicated hunter permit so I'm not sure how many I will be able to get in, but I will do my best.

See ya tomorrow
