I woke up at 7:30 and decided to get my butt out the door for a change. I ran 3.4 really easy miles (33:00) and then came home and jumped on the elliptical and did 30 Minutes on that and then did some stretching... My legs were lazy and achy during the run but then on the elliptical they felt a little better and then I decided to go through some of the leg strength training exercises that I will be starting on Monday, I just wanted to get a feel for what I want to do so I don't waste any time. I feel pretty good about the ones that I have picked and I am hoping they will help me get stronger in my legs, as far as running is concerned I will keep it light, like around 3 to 4 miles a day at a really slow pace and on days where I don't feel like running I will only do the elliptical, this is my plan through most of the winter. It felt good to actually do something today, it has been a long 3 weeks of laziness!

See ya on Monday.

I saw some guy running yesterday and I thought to myself, if that's Clay I'm going to give him heck. What happened to my plan for you of taking the winter off?? :D I know it's easier said than done, and I am glad your injury feels healed up. Ease back in easy so you don't reinjure.

Clay, like the positive vibes, stick to your plan, it will pay off.
